LOV’s Mission

The Mission of LOV is to promote volunteerism and to enhance the quality of life in the cities of Fremont, Union City and Newark, California and to meet the needs of youth, senior citizens and those in need.

Agency Profile

The League of Volunteers (we’re known as “LOV”), is a Non-profit multi-service 501(c)3 agency.  Founded in 1979, LOV started providing programs and services to the Tri-Cities to satisfy the need for school arts and community recreation programs after major cutbacks in funding.

LOV currently operates multiple free and low-cost, year-round community programs, services and events.  See our Programs page for more info.
