For over a decade, award-winning folksinger & autoharp virtuoso Adam Miller has presented multi- cultural. Singing Through History! assemblies across the United States . All programs are designed to encourage group singing and inter-activity and are tailored to be age-appropriate for any combination of grades.. Select from:

Frogs, Dogs and Wild Boars (Grds K-4) Traditional European and American children's folk songs about birds, farm animals and wild beasts.

Just for Fun Sing-A-Long Songs (grds K-5) Folk songs with easy choruses, musical games and story-songs with an emphasis on having fun & singing together.

Halloween Songs – (Grds K-5) Traditional & contemporary chants, stories & folk songs for All Hallow's Eve.

Songs of the Winter Holidays – (Grds 3-12) – Well-known & not-so-well known traditional folk songs & carols for New Year's, Hanukkah, Christmas & the Winter Solstice.

Going to the West - (Grds 4-12) – Folk songs of the Gold Rush: the westward migration, the Native-American experience & stewardship of the land.

Cowboy Songs & Ballads – (Grds 4-12-) An introduction to Western folk songs, contrasting the rough experience of real, working American cowboys with the image portrayed in the movies & literature.

Colonial Days - (Grds 5-12) – An exploration of life in the American Colonies: ballads, broadsides and folk songs from the War for Independence .

Songs of the American Labor Movement – (Grds 6-12) – Folk songs of the women & men who built America : their accomplishments & their efforts to improve the conditions of their labor.

Women in Folk Song – (Grds 5-12) – Folk songs about the relationships between women & men, historical attitudes toward women & their contribution to society, family and vulture.

Whaling & Sailing Songs - (Grds 3-12) – Songs of the sea, shanties, sailing songs, and whaling songs from the days of Moby Dick.

Conservation and the Environment (Grds 3-12) Environmental concerns throughout American history. Songs about the sustainable, and unsustainable nature of human and natural resources.

Lewis and Clark: The Opening of the West (Grds 4-12) – Songs & stories of Lewis and Clark, explorers who made the epic 8,000 mile journey through the unmapped West from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean and back.
