The Guests a folk tale from the Middle East . A woman living in a tiny house is visited one night by a crowd of unexpected animal “guests”. The text written especially for Opera Piccola by noted Iranian novelist Shahrnush Parsiput offers a message of peace to an uncertain world. It includes music & dance, colorful costumes, portable scenery and lots of audience participation.

The Stolen Aroma - a North African folktale.- combines African, Arabic and jazz styles in a hilarious show that contains a moral about greed and sharing.

Into the Eye of Magic! - a musical Chinese folktale - combines Chinese opera with modern music and theater lending insight into Chinese culture.

CHAC, The Rain Spirit - a Mayan folktale from Mexico has a wise and humorous message about human weakness, courage and forgiveness and includes Mayan dance and Latin American music.

Hansel & Gretel , Germany – The brothers Grimm's famous story is still relevant to students today. This fun and energetic audience adaptation of Humperdinck's folk opera is new, yet classic every time.
